Warriors: Shadowed Horizons - Ch. 3"Are you sure you're alright?"
"I told you before, I'm fine."
"It's sometimes hard to adjust when it's your first time."
"Like you would know that." The light gray she-cat butted the darker cat playfully in the side.
"I swear to StarClan, Dovewing. Sometimes you have the sense of a newborn kit."
"Thank you, Cinderheart. And that that makes you ?" Dovewing teased, dodging out of the way of Cinderheart's paw.
The darker gray she-cat had moved into the nursery a moon ago, carrying her old mentor, Lionblaze's, kits. Cinderheart seemed completely content to spend her days in the warm nursery, without warrior duties to worry about. It wasn't the same for Dovewing. Sitting in the nursery all day was making her fur fall out. She had been expecting Bumblestripe's kits for barely half a moon, but it wasn't that noticeable.
"Besides." Dovewing said casually, licking her paw and drawing it nonchalantly over her face. Continuing with her warrior duties was the only thing that let her keep her
Warriors: Shadowed Horizons - Ch. 2The golden-pelted tom grumbled as he felt a continuous prod in his side. Groaning, her turned over, trying to convince himself that it was only a dream, but the prodding continued until it was unbearable.
"For StarClan's sake, Lionblaze, wake up!"
Finally giving into his common sense, Lionblaze lazily lifted his large head, squinting in the morning light which made out the white pelt of Cloudtail; one of the senior warriors in the Clan. Since the battle with the Dark Forest, it wasn't hard for him to believe in StarClan as it was before. As Ivypool had stated a few days before, "Sometimes it takes sight to make something real." He had agreed with her.
"I'm up." He grumbled, stretching in his nest while being careful not to disturb any of the other sleeping warriors. Can't I get any sleep around here? He sighed to himself. It seemed like he was always the one put on border patrols, hunting missions, and all of the other actions that presented themselves to the Clan. But he couldn
Warriors: Shadowed Horizons - Ch. 1The colors of the leaf-fall became more and more prominent as the seasons passed, and the same blue eyes continued to watch it happened. More eyes joined his, and yet more of them were lost as the leaves fell and the cold winds took its place. The blue eyes stayed the same for a long time, always joined by a pair of amber eyes that had always rested on his. But in the late days of the cold weather, the amber eyes eventually faded, leaving the blue eyes to close as well. When even starlight started to dim, the memories of the great battle were finally starting to be forgotten
The gray tabby opened his eyes. Blinking the long sleep away, he stretched his tired limps; once again feeling the cold that made his body quiver during the late months. A great sigh escaped his lungs as he forced himself out of his nest and over to the store of leaves and berries that he hadn't bothered to sort with. Pawing unenthusiastically at the pile, he frowned and abandoned his work as he had done many

Blue Eyes in FlamesWhen the prince sees the flower bloom from the palm of her hand, he orders her arrest.
She is only seven years old.
He takes the flower from her and keeps it, even though he knows he shouldn't. He puts it a vase, or, rather, his servant does that for him. The flower doesn't ever die, even years later.
It's dawn of a December morning, and he's cold. But still, he stands next to his father dutifully and looks at the little girl with blue eyes that are now black from seven nights sleeping on a cold, dungeon floor behind bars. They cut off her dark brown hair during that time. She's tied to the pyre, and there are seven guards around her, holding sharper swords than normal, not that she could get away. There's one man dressed in black holding an unlit torch, with a mask over his face to prevent his death. His father raises his arm, and the torch is lit.
She locks her gaze to his, and he blinks at her. It's like she expects him to prevent it. He couldn't, though, he can't. She scares him, w
